Flavours of the month
Do Make Say Think, the legendary post-rockband from Canada, is back, with a song that might have reached perfection, it's definitely the best music I've heard in many months. If I need to select just one song for the past three months, it would be 'Bound and Boundless'. Savour the composion and pay attention to the brilliant details. There are other experimental bands in this list, where the instrumental layers are more important than the vocals (if any vocals at all). Do check Blanck Mass, Fatima Yamaha, All We Are. Melancholy bands Moon Duo and Cigarettes After Sex have each released a single you will probably cherish for the rest of your life. The Orielles bring you everything you need in rock music. Their single is epic, and these kids are only 18! Then we have Mark Lanegan's comeback, with two songs in the top 10. Don't skip our local talent: Shht, SeizoensKlanken, Undskyld, Rumours.
