In de tussentijd leek het me interessant om een blog te maken over Amerikaanse muziek. Of het nu om de garage rock van de jaren zeventig, de grunge van de jaren negentig of de post-rock van de jaren 2000 gaat, de Verenigde Staten hebben altijd erg interessante artiesten voortgebracht. Puur afgaand van mijn eigen Tijdloze top 500 en met één nummer per band, vind je hieronder mijn 100% Amerikaanse top 50! Het lijkt dat mijn proghelden uit El Paso het nipt winnen van de legendarische rock- en grungebands waar ik mee ben opgegroeid.
