A brand new list to listen to. 2020 has absolutely been a great year for alternative rock. Protomartyr's new album must be one of the best of the year, and one of their many singles ranks at the number one position this month. There's also the interesting comebacks of Puscifer, Zeal & Ardor, Asaf Avidan and - most surprisingly - Pendulum, and the American psychrockers of Osees have adopted yet another spelling of their band name. Sufjan Stevens is the only artist to feature twice in the list this month, despite the many singles Protomartyr have released.
