We repeat again and again that the postpunk era has come to an end. Time for something new. But then why has my entire top 3 been conquered by British postpunk? Yet there are numerous interesting bands eager to take over and shape the second half of the Twenties, such as Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Basht., My New Band Believe and 1000 Rabbits. We have some great Belgian music as well, with Isolde Lasoen, Ghinzu, B O I, Oproer, Girls In Hawaii and Floris Francis Arthur. There's the unlikely but enchanting collaboration between RAYE and Hans Zimmer. And Modest Mouse is back. How about that? Finally, I couldn't leave out the internet sensation Angine de Poitrine. Do believe the hype.
