Happy new year! As usual, around ten days into the new year the first singles start pouring in, while the number one still dates from last year. Right now it's The Clockworks, whose new album is to be expected soon. Several artists are listed twice in the top 30, either because their previous single made a lasting impression, or because they released two singles at the same time. Anyway, twice as much fun for Animal Collective's Avey Tare, for Chino Moreno's side project ††† (Crosses), for Shame, The Murder Capital, Rehash, The Lathums, The Veils, and for omnipresent Damon Albarn too.
