One month before the end of the year let's introduce some brand new songs that will reside in our ears and brain in the upcoming weeks, alongside some songs that could almost be branded as '2020 classics', still in this list. At the end of the year the top 100 of 2020 will of course also appear on this blog, but for now, these are the 30 best singles of the moment. Deftones is doing really well, both with their full album Ohms and their remix album to celebrate 20 years of White Pony. However, brand new at #1 is the new single of the Irish post-rock band God Is an Astronaut, kicking 'Ohms' all the way back to #9. More heavy guitars with Mystic Peach, Melin Melyn, Doodseskader, Teen Creeps and others. The list also consists of some rather interesting collabs, Covid or otherwise. And look who's gone solo: Martin Gore of Depeche Mode!
